Warranty Policy for Temple Reef Rods

Temple Reef offers a one-year warranty on its rods for manufacturing defects, applicable only to the initial retail buyer. This warranty doesn’t cover damage from misuse or general wear and tear. If a rod is found to be defective, Temple Reef reserves the right to either repair or replace the rod free of charge, except for shipping, packaging, and insurance costs, which are the buyer’s responsibility. If the damaged model is discontinued, Temple Reef will replace it with a model it deems most similar to its current selection.

“No Questions Asked” Replacement

If a rod breaks for any reason, i.e., accidental, mishandled, etc., within the one-year warranty period, the original retail purchaser can replace the rod at 50% of the current retail price plus any shipping and handling charges. This offer is at the sole discretion of Temple Reef.

How to File a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, click on the link at the bottom of this page. You will need to provide the series and model of the rod, a copy of the purchase receipt, and photographs clearly showing the entire rod and any broken parts, especially the areas where the break occurred. A detailed account of the events leading to the rod’s breakage, including fishing conditions, lure and jig weight, and the size of the fish caught, is also mandatory. If you haven’t received a response from us within three days of submitting your claim, we recommend checking your spam folder, as our email may have been redirected there. Claims that are unsubstantiated or fail to meet the evidence requirements specified in this section will not be honored. Temple Reef assumes no liability for any intentional, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the breach of this warranty or any implied warranties under the law.
